Grow Seeds That Feed

Hey fellow gardeners and seed-sters  i know its been awhile since my last post, but this morning i have a surpise for you  and it has made my day  and gave new meaning  and symbolized life, as many of you know i lost two friends in a car crash  in my last post and this mornings post is about new life and growth, so a few months ago myself and the Lovely Gabriella (my girl) driving around  and to the suprise we went by nurseries in the area and bought some plants (Bromeliads, Roses & Fuchsias) and while at the one nursery i saw a broken of  branch of a small pink rose i then asked if i may have it.  When we got home i then trimmed it and stuck it in next to the Oregano Pot which by the way i will do a post on  tomorrow. So a few weeks after planting it i realized that the top half is going brown and woody and thought the worst,  in a sens i gave up on it  but still watered the oregano as per norm. So this  morning  before i leave for work i always tend to go spend time in my garden

This is rather a sad post as i struggle to find the words & believe that this is real... Two days ago my world was shaken to the core with the news that you have passed away and the the only thing that came to mind was that this cannot be true, but sadly it was true when i read the comments and remarks on you're walls I am going to miss you both  so much; especially in the December  Holiday festivals when you would hunt me down when ever you came to visit to just say Hi and share on your tattoo art work and pieces and life events and  just caring with both your big hearts. Thank you for being real and true friends and the friendship you offered me is and will always be rare, you weren't only just my friends but have become family to me, and for this i am grateful that our paths crossed the way it did, May God grant your families and friends the peace and comfort as he has called you home, where you belong, and even if we will miss you so much you will be in our hearts

Hey fellow gardeners... So  i woke up this morning at 2:45 am...and not being able to fall asleep again i decided to post this blog. About 3 weeks ago i went to move stuff from the old house that has been sold to my current residencies and as i left i took  some of the white rose buds as remembrance of all the beautiful memories i have shared and made with friends and family there. So last night i opened them up to collect the seeds inside. i have already also started the germinating process on  about 10 seeds in the hope that they will soon sprout and be ready to  plant, come springtime. The excess seed i have put in seeds packets that i print so that i can store them and give them as gifts to to others. So i have taken  a pic to share with you... Hey guys i thought i'd just share a picture with on on my beautiful Basil plant growing in my Kitchen window sill.... left of it is i have a oregano clipping that has start to root and once its strong enough i will transplant it to far right i have a mint clipping which i hope starts rooting real soon... hope you have a blessed day... Hello fellow Gardeners... I know this  post has nothing to do with gardening but i felt the need to share it with you. All of you might know  the Brilliant artist JASON MRAZ and to those that donit just click on his name in this post and go experience his art, so to get back to the point (giggles)... A few years ago a few of his Music  pieces ( I WONT GIVE UP & I'm YOURS) helped me through a heavy Breakdown... not that that is important heheheh (ill make a vlog about it someday for you to understand)... any way as i was saying, even after 6 years he still manages to inspire me  with this journal entry so here its is hope you are all inspired by this LEGEND ... After watching this footage i became sad because so many of us in the world today are losing so much  with our ignorance the fast and commercialized lives we maintain and we loose sight of what is truly  important. Just like these seeds we to will become extinct if we don't preserve what God has given us. I like the statement that Will Bonsali makes about the God the Creator "what if the creator looked down and come and look around and say " ... but WHERE IS THIS, WHERE DID THAT GO, I CREATED THIS; WHERE DID IT GO AND HOW COME ITS NOT HERE" I personally wonder what our replies and excuses would be... Dearest Family and Friends, The time has come to fullfill my dreams and L.I.V.E (Learn Inspire Vivify Educate) as I have decided to start a Family Garden Mossel Bay, South Africa .   As you all know, i suffer from O.G.D (Obsessive Gardening Disease) not because im ill but simply that i just love gardening so much. My love for the garden started every since i can remember; always planting things and has brought me back time and time again to follow this dream and take bounding leaps of faith to get there.   Everything I have ever done in life has brought me to this point right here. Good Morning Fellow Gardeners This morning i have a rather weird post to share and by reading the title of this blog you  might have and idea of what has happened. So every day after my normal 8-5 job go home and plant or nurture my seedlings and do some gardening, and as a routine i check to see if all the plant are well moistened and not to dry of the day in the sun and by now i know each and every plant  seedling i have However i pay close attention to my French Marigolds as the seed of this plant which i have been looking for since forever i finally found one day walking through the botanical garden; and man did they grow well they where just about to bloom. Oh and then there are the 120 chilli pepper seedlings in a tray which i thought would never sprout  and then they go and surprise me with growing so well and with them being ready to be transplanted this weekend i was filled with excitement  to see the produce once the babies started blooming. Today is the first of may, but i am  sure you all knew that already. today is also some sort of public Holiday in South Africa Workersday (Labours day) to be exact... hence all the time in the world for blogging hahhahahha If i'm not mistaken ... Mothers day is in the month of may, right? Well so lets get started on gifts then... Share with us on how you will spoil the one you love on this special day As for the Michaels family; we will be honoring the day with flower bouquets of Protea's at the cemetery to loved-one's passed... so enough about the gloom let brighten up this post with some color of green. Beautiful Purple Blue Petunias Bought over at Agri George when i was just supposed to go and buy seed trays for the  Sunflower seeds that i have received from my neighbor in exchange for some wood chips... cant wait to plant them...
